Gamed until 12:30 (early for me to quit), and went to bed. Around 1:43AM, some neighbors set off a bunch of firecrackers. Me not happy.
Then around 2-something, they blasted something on the stereo. Repeat around 3-something. Did I mention I've got to be up by 7AM to play drums at church? I thought I forgot something. When they kicked it off again at 4:45 AM, I called the cops. That was it. Around 5:15, they quieted down for good. I think they got at least a talking-to from the cops. Their parents are out on vacation, and left the kids at home. Good thing I don't actually know the kid involved (like I do with other neighbors), or one of us would really be regretting something shortly. Other than that, it has been a pleasant Sunday so far

I prefer a Martini, some wine with dinner, and then Scotch. Sleep like a baby.

Picked up a big ol' bottle of Mountain Dew today, which will help much of what ails me
Turns out I can't find any other neighbors who heard this party last night. I know I didn't imagine it... I think I guess that's what happens when people are on vacation for a legal holiday... Still, it's been much quieter today... just the way I like it. Now for some more gaming and a little bit of fun before bedtime

Sounds like every night I've had all month. You sure you don't live next door to me?
