Are there any good staves that do not have a curse on them. The two I got so far were both cursed. (one in serpant temple ? one in Boogreville) I used them anyway but I get tired of the messages.

Yes, there are some good staves which are not cursed - Staff of Death, Staff of Death II, Staff of Summoning.
