*mild SPOILERS* given that you know who Yakman is...

I just noticed that one of dialogue options for Yakman after you cast Heal on him (at which point you find out his name is actually Tamorlin) is along the lines of "why don't you join me?". I think it'd be kinda cool if there were a recruitable NPC in the middle of Watcher's Keep, so I'm hoping somebody might make him a recruitable NPC.

Not sure what he'd be - he apparently fell victim to Feeblemind, so I'm guessing he wouldn't have the best saves. Also, he has a (plain) Longsword in his "tent" (which is trapped, which presumable he set), so I'm thinking Fighter/Thief. Might be a good opportunity for a Good party to recruit an advancable ToB Thief.

It sounds like a good idea to me, Imrahil. A recruitable Yakman/Tamorlin would be really cool.

As to his class, BioWare actually gave him one. According to Infinity Explorer, Tamorlin is a lvl 20 Berserker, Lawful Neutral of alignment. His stats are:
18/50 Str
19 Con
13 Dex
9 Int
9 Wis
9 Cha
I wonder how they managed a 19 Con and 13 Dex on an Elf, though...
Anyway, his saving throws are (since you pointed it out ):
Death/Poison/Paralyzation: 3, Wand/Staff/Rod: 5, Polymorph/Petrification: 4, Spells: 6, Breath: 4.

LOL I see what you mean but when you cast Heal or something on him he becomes sane but I wouldnt really want the hassle of getting rid of one of my other NPCs.

Sounds like a good idea, but I don't know how long he'd stay sane Though I don't really think this is the place to talk about creating mods, here is a Forgotten Wars forum where there are plenty of mod makers so drop by and share it.

[EDIT]I'll be on there as Astaroth[/EDIT]

I don't think he'd be sane, proably still as goofy as well goofy. But why not add another nutcase to the party. between him, jan, minsc(omg, i could totally imagine him trying to eat boo. lol, Rodents be yakman's only food. You brought one for Yakman. OOO, he's a fat one he is. minsc punches Yakman and proceeds to lecture him on the virtues of his giant space hamster.) i'm trying to think of the other members of the crazy party and i'm blanking.

oh, and about the constitution, he'd need it to survive at all.

Well, Minsc and Jan are obvious....
PC would be a Chaotic Neutral Wild Mage
Haer'Dalis is also CN
Anomen can flip out as well
we need a female.....Viconia goes through some rather drastic mood swings?
Xzar is available with TDD
