What has happened ? Why are you addressing me that formally. I thought we had long passed that stage ... after all, we were already discussing apples together .... I must have offended her ...

Et je viens d'Ecosse.

Plaisir d'amour, ne dure qu'un moment

Chagrin d'amour dure toute la vie.

Au revoir mes amis

Btw, if you really want to be baffled, try to track down Scot's dialect examples, even I can't understand a lot of it

Well, I got bits and pieces of it. "You", "alltogether", "special"...but I can't quite 'get' the meaning. I'll keep trying though, unless Sparhhawk happens upon this thread. (skore has me veritable stumped! ) - btw: don't know how to get the two dots (do Danish call it similar to 'umlaut' also?) on top of the 'o', sorry).

Here's the translation: "You're all completely mad, especially Cloudy."

Not really - I am a naturally happy rodent, but I have been to that deep dark place that you can only find with unrequited love. Oh, and I really like the song as well

Well, it seems I have much to learn about your language still. I am going to have to break down and order some kind of tutoring program.

Actually, all the possibilities you mentioned are just fine, for friends the bit you said in the earlier post would be: Ich danke DIR vielmals.

But, I am really truly and very much impressed with your German !

Care for some private lessons ? Extraordinary talent deserves special fostering - in any field !

How about online lessons? I know we're at least 3 or 4 danes here on the board, and maybe some of the other scandinavians here like WOLFGIR also know some danish, I bet we could manage to teach you danish in a year, maybe half a year if we're lucky.
