I've talked to Ardibren outside of Shurugeon Castle, exhausted the keywords and he gave me his element. The walkthru says if I leave the area, he will die and when I come back there will be a staff here. When I left the area, he died, but no staff. I reloaded a savegame from before the the encounter, and still no staff. I've walked to the city and back and still no staff. Spirit eye shows nothing in the vicinity either.
Am I doing something wrong? Is this staff critical enough to be of concern? Thanks for the help. |

Interesting, I got his staff. And, no, you don't need it for anything. It's not of much use. I just sold it, I think.

The staff is a random thing. Sometimes he has it, sometimes not. As Dr. Pick says, it's not crucial to the game. The element is.
