I have beat the game and downloaded the editor for it. It never works. When I save the editing and go to play the game thetre is no change in my characters stats or abilities. Got any ideas?

Raige,

Perhaps you didn't get a good copy of the editor?? Try redownloading it and seeing if that makes a difference. I've never used the editor so I do not know if it is any good or not.

What sort of editing are you trying to do to your characters? Trying to bump their abilities or downgrade them? If you downgrading to make the game a challenge again - you might as well just create new characters. If you are trying to bump them up, there are ways to bump the stats without the editor. There are some hints in the Best Tips thread on how to pump them up just in the game itself.

Hope you find something that will help!!

The editor is a roster file editor. When you load a save game it overlays the roster file with one of the copies in the save game. To make it work, exit the game with all your characters in the Inn, do edits, restart game and reform your party in the INN

Happy Editing

Try renaming your charaters to something unique then leave them in the inn and exit game copy editor to the game directory and edit away. I am useing it to try and find out some stat info not to bump up charaters so not shure the limitations.....hope this helps.....
