For home use, I ignore them. They have better things to do that track down people for minor discretions, and I have better things to do than trawl through all that legalese just to find out what I already know - IE, no copying, personal backup permitted, one installation at a time.
For corporate use its wise to either study the EULA or pay someone else to. Corporates are better targets and getting caught on an EULA condition is expensive.
