Now that I have memorized a bunch of spells I don't want and can't memorize some that I would like, is there any way to forget spells? I know, I know......RTFM..

I belive (but am not sure) that this can only be done with TOB installed.

If theres some spells you want to add to your spellbook, but it says you cant because you have reached the maximum number of spells learned allowed by your intellignece, you should gulp a potion of genius or two to raise your intelligence so that you can memorize more spells (period)

Thanks. I will begin gulping immediately. I knew I was saving them for something.

You could also erase spells permanently from our spellbook - but this is a feature that's added when you install TOB.

Not sure if you could rescribe erased spells to your spell book if you had the spell scroll, though.

just as a side note. Since you get ex. points for memorizing spells you can erase spells that you don't use and memorize other spells you won't use, get the points, erase, etc. A nice easy way to get ex. points from scrolls you won't be using anyway.

You can only erase spells from your spellbook with ToB installed... (this is a cheesy though).

You can also remove spells with the use of SK if you have reached your maximum.

When the int stat returns to normal, will the spell beyond the limit stay or be erased?

potions of genius to raise your Int will also make it more likely to successfully scribe spell as well. although, if you're scribing spells, just set the difficulty temporarily down a bit and it's always 100% chance anyway.

btw. you can re-scribe spells you have erased and get the Exp for them again as well. This is cheese if just done for EXP, but useful if you accidently erased the wrong spell
