To that last question, I chose #3, as it's closest to the correct response for me. I always play through a game at least once with no cheats, sometimes more, depending on the game. I have some games that I have never even looked for cheat codes for.

i try my best to play the game without cheats.. unless im stuck for hours on a single problem thats when i take a "peek"
