Greater Wolfweres are hard to kill because they heal automatically during combat. You will have to inflict damage faster than the beast can heal. I couldn't do that the first time I tried, I got back later and succeeded. I made the maximum of 5 summons, and casted haste, and it finally worked.

Generally speaking, for sorcerers, wizards, ..., the problem is the protection spells they cast on themselves. Having your spellcasters cast spells that remove them, like the 'Breach' spell, and hacking them to pieces in melee with your fighters generally work nice.

Some tricks against wolfwere´s my tough little brothers!!
Take ém out one at a time, haste your main slasher dude, cast magic missiles with mages, holy smite, that usually takes care of them, a fast bower can dish out a lot of damage to since theur AC ain´t the best!

Protections against magic, cast clodkill, death fog, summon creatures, raise dead so the mages will waste their goodies upon your summoned critters..

Dragons are a doddle once they're sussed. Summon the 5 biggest things you can (Aerial Servants and Greater elementals are good) - NO DEMONS. Then cast "Restist Fear" on them and your fighters. Haste them and your fighters. If the dragon starts non-hostile, have them all circle around him. Then, cast "Magic Resistance" on the dragon. This replaces his MR with the lower rate and doesn't make him hostile. Then, have all the monsters/fighters attack at once with the spellcasters using spells such as Magic Missile or Minute Meteors (if not a red dragon)

For dragons, there is one tried-and-proven tactic that I use.

1. Breach
2. Magic resistence
3. Lower resists
4. Resist fear on your fighters
5. Lots of summoned creatures
6. Rush him with all of these (remember to take him down quick cos he really slaughters low level creatures)

Alternatively, if you can cast the 7th level spell Mordenkainen's Sword, do this.

1. Breach (Pierce Magic, Pierece Shield)
2. Magic Resistence
3. Lower Resists
4. Cast Mordenkainen's Sword two times, then leave it to them.

The two swords are immune to the dragon's damage and dragon fear, and they wll take him down quick.

You could try the clericspell slay living I think. That will reduce the greater werewolf to 1 hitpoint and than you just need one more hit(if youre quick).
