I hate 'em. mind you, I am the sort of person to be scared out of my wits by a 12 rated film (I THINK that's PG-13 in the rest of the world)

I grew up on horror movies. When I was a little kid I had a small black-and-white telly in my room and I was allowed to watch the horror double bills.

My teens saw the era of slasher movies. Hellraiser, Friday 13th, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street et al, though none scared me like ALIEN did the first time I saw it

now slasher films are boring. I saw Halloween H2O at the cinema and it bored the crap out fo me. I nodded off 3 times, I'm that jaded to such viewing. It was the same as all the others and I bet Jason X will be too

I still think the older horror films were better. Hammer House of Horror for instancec, or Lon Chaney's werewolf films (liked them)

Vincecnt Price made a good Dr Phibes though
