Lanesra: Too funny!

and I've definitely seen that type of debate here, and in other forums as well!

ALUMINIUM

Oh, and Cloudykins, it hangs to the back - always has and always will. That way the friction factor works for you - pulling down and away frees the roll from contact with the wall, then stopping to tear re-stablishes that contact. Far too easy to suffer a premature tear when you hang away from the wall, particularly in the early life of the roll when the contact area with the wall is the greatest.

M: No.
H: Now..
M: Waaaaah!!!
H: Good, Good! That's it.
M: Stop hitting me!!
H: What?
M: Stop hitting me!!
H: Stop hitting you?
M: Yes!
H: Why did you come in here then?
M: I wanted to complain.
H: Oh no, that's next door. It's being-hit-on-the-head lessons in here.
M: What a stupid concept.

Apologies to the Monty Python team.
M: Good morning.
P: Good morning sir, and welcome to the National Cheese Emporium.
M: Thank you my Good man.
P: And what can I do for you sir.
M: Well I was sitting at the public Library on Thurman Street skimming through a bit of Hugh Walpole when I suddenly came over all peckish.
P: Peckish sir?
M: Sulient.
P: ... eh? ...
M: *sigh* Eaowl 'ungry like.
P: Oh, hungry.
M: In a nutshell. And I thought to myself a little fermented curd would do the trick. So I curtailed my Walpoling activities, sallied forth, and infiltrated your place of commerce to negotiate the purchase of some cheesey comestibles.
P: ... come again? ...
M: I wanna buy some cheese.
P: Oh, I thought you were complaining about the bazookie (SP?) player.
M: Oh heaven forbid I cherish every manifestation of the Terpsichorean Muse.
P: ... sorry? ...
M: Ooooh, I like a nice tune.
P: Oh, so he can play on then can he?
M: Certainly...

And so on and so forth. I absolutely commend your choice of sketches Lanesra. Classics for sure!

What about double ply?

I've never had such a problem as premature tear, but I hear it happens to most guys...

Well, I'd like to seriously discuss abortion, if anyone's up for it.

I will start by posting one sentence, designed to cause anyone with any concern over the topic to start a debate.

The abortion debate doesn't matter.

R: Certainly sir. Have you been here before?
M: No, I haven't, this is my first time.
R: I see. Well, do you want to have just heated debate , or were you thinking of taking a course?
M: Well, what is the cost?
R: Well, It's one pound for a five minute heated debate, but only eight pounds for a course of ten.
M: Well, I think it would be best if I perhaps started off with just the one and then see how it goes.
R: Fine. Well, I'll see who's free at the moment.
Pause
R: Mr. DeBakey's free, but he's a little bit conciliatory.
Ahh yes, Try Mr. Barnard; room 12.
M: Thank you.

BRAVO!

Conan, I think I'd as soon not MEET a Great White Shark but other than that, I don't think much about them every day!

Davros, you're so naieve! You can be sure the paint and splinters on the wall behind the roll will find their way to the tp once you start pulling it from the WRONG direction! I mean....really! Every schoolchild knows this! AND what's more, its so much more convenient for the cat to unravel if it pulls over from the top!
