Description:

The Unholy Smacker was a frearsome anti-paladin group before it met its end, though it was rather a robbering band offers protections to murderous rogues, thugs and mad socerers than an anarchy-type organization. Their slogans were clear: anti-law, anit-justice, anit-order and the worst of all, anti-paladin.

In the early time, they could be found activating along the river mirar and the road from Sandalbar to Silverymoon. At night, they would silently sneak into the big band of merchant wagons, knock out everyone who was awake, then they'd grab the loot and escape. Later, as they grew more powerful, they extended their bandit enterprise to the far south and southwest, even reaching the City of Law of the Water Deep, where the population was more dense, and merchants were more wealthy.

As more and more reports of bandits came, the lords of Water Deep grew anger. They dispatched their armies three times, even included some of the best wizards that lived in Water Deep back then. However, the cunning band of Unholy Smackers proved to be trickier. Whenever they received information of the coming army, they'd scatter into the more comfortable and familiar mountains. At night, they'd regroup at a secret place and lay an ambush to the weary sleeping soldiers of the Water Deep.

Eventually, the Lords turned to seek help from the powerful law enforcers, the Justica's Eyes, a group of well known paladins. The paladins' leader was Eltiri Alsaelion, an exerllent army commander as well as an elite fighter. He led his paladins fellows into the deep moutains, beseiged the most important passasges and determined to won this battle on the time table. Everyday, he took out a patrol and guard the passing merchants. As weeks passed by, seeing no way to reach the merchant wagons, the bandits eventually came out and confronted Eltiri and his fellows head on.

The battle between Justicas' Eyes and Unholy Smackers were praised and song by the bards till this day. Though being outnumbered at least one to three, Eltiri led his paladins fearlessly. He himself, alone charged into the first group of bandits, tearing through ranks. As the battle heated up, his fellow paladins were hard pressed and about to sacrifice willingly, to their surprise, they discovered their leader appeared FROM NOWHERE in the midst of their attackers, hacking and slashing, dropping everyone. His tradmark blade, Justica's Mercy, pirecing through the armors of bloody bandits, curving out silvery lightings. The bandits' moral were truely shaken that day, those who witnessed Eltiri Alsaelion in action and survived, would still tremble in fear when they were forced to remind it.

How about a nice combo with a sheild? See also "building an RPG" from myself earlier on the posts.

Also a good pali sword like this would also be immune to mind altering spells like charm, domination, as the morale is so high? What do you think?

yea it is pretty powerful.. I just am thinking if I had morale, no one woudl try and charm me.. Then again, maybe it can also add a weekness, like susceptable to extra killing and may go beserk or stab oneself.

I think your sword sounds really cool except if might be smidge too powerful, if I were you I'd take out the haste ability then it would be perfect for a paladin to smite evil!

hmm... i am thinking about the haste, you know? haste IS really an unbalanced effect... how about reduce it to 4 rounds?

or, let this sword grants extra 1/2 attack?

yo, I changed its stats, it no longer does haste, it now grant smite evil once per day, and immune to confusion + charm (level 2, 3 mage spells)
