I have just started palying baldurs 2 and am unable to get my baldurs 1 character to come over to game 2. Is there anything I can do to bring my character over. She is good and I really don't want to create another if I don't have to
Thankyou

Are you sure you have saved your character from BG1?
If you have that, it should just be to import it right to BG2.
PS. Remember that you must have both the games installed on your computer.

You need to copy the .chr file from your BG1 "Characters" folder into the BG2 "Characters" folder.

After that, they'll be available in the Import section of the player generation screen.

Oops Andrewas, you are right... *hangs head in shame*

What about importing from SoA to ToB. After I killed Jon, I don't recall seeing any save status on the screen. I don't have ToB yet, but how will it know I finished SoA? I think the last save I have is just pre Jon-boy.

If you have ToB installed, just refight Jonny boy and the game will auto-transfer you to ToB when you defeat him.

Thankyou, Dundee. Are they doing this to prevent people from finishing the game several times with the same guy and stacking his stats? I tried importing a char I finished with to a new game and no good stats, but my dex and hp were down ala selfishness test. Doesn't seem fair to get the bad and not the good.

No problem, and I have considered importing a maxed level Sorcerer into Jonny's Dungeon before, but then I felt it would get old quick.
