i did all that and with mook and aran linvail still won't talk with me how do I get him to talk with me he is always busy.

I've heard that the "Foo won't talk to you" problem is related to WinXP. Do you have all the patches installed?

the NPC is busy problem is solved in the newest Bioware patch
get it at http://www.bioware.com/games/shadows...patches/#patch or http://www.bioware.com/games/throne_...patches/#patch if you got ToB installed

oh and i forgot:
there is a workaround for this problem without the patch, although it is extremely annoying. just keep saving and reloading until the char will talk to you. This can take very long tough (you sooner roll a 100 on char generation) and isn't worth the trouble if you can get the patch. however I practised it for some time when my WebAccess was down after installing XP.
