Yep, BSR became a semi-legend (on BGDungeon anyways ) with his journal of Bob the Jester, when he soloed through the game with a jester; he was even a moderator for a while, IIRC. And Pyth is mostly reminded because of the "Elves are stupid" debate...

You forgot Vaskez (notrix at BGD). Heaven forbid anyone forget Uncle Vask.

The BGDungeon experience taught me my most important lesson about forum moderation - trolls cannot be allowed to exist.

Tarencil, (Neo)Warlock, Messala, gothmog (Filkarri now), Aivanther, outlander78, BraveSirRobin, Shadowstrider, Ravenwind, Dar, The Conjurer, Boone, LeBurns, Mageman, GuildRunner, Rodan, Calis, Milamber, Slayerking, PrinceLegolas, The Saint... All sticking to a few smaller ones, mostly. Nagash, pinkypinky, Dinnin Lightbringer, ArchMage Alexander, Whisper, Daragor, VigaHrolf, Wicked Witch from the West, Pyth Dranook, SwordMage, Fiona, The Mage, NamVaDeRouge, Santiago, Yseult, Monte Carlo, they're all still around every once and awhile, only not that often anymore (I think I've named most of the 1500+ posters now. )
I suppose some of those names sound familiar?

Certainly, yours included. BraveSirRobin still posts now and then on GameBanshee. Do you remember my Dwarven Throwers posts, the one that hijacked that thread into a long, apparently serious series on the history and comparative merits of throwing dwarves, gnomes, and halflings in battle? I began it again on GB. It's not doing much lately, but it has collected several hundred posts.

Of course, but I was only naming the ones that never or hardly ever showed up at Ironworks.

Actually, the dwarven throwing thread happened a little before my time I think... Never really got a chance to read it.
But I believe RudeDawg brought it over to Ironworks, and if you started one at GameBanshee as well, then one out of both is bound to be online still. Should check them out one of these days.

Thanks a lot Grojlach for that link to the Elysium, that thread brought back a lot of memories but I only recognised Fable, swordmage and Guildrunner, but it was a big board. Anyway all we can do with the past is look back at it,but the future is our's to mold and the furture is Ironworks, but I still miss those times...
