It didn't snow here in Indy, it hailed. Nothing but hail and freezing rain for 4 hours, covered up all the streets and is hard as rock today. You know it's frozen over when you can't even leave foot prints in it

Got so bad, every school in southern Indiana is closed, even mine, which is actually saying a lot.

Edit: Spelling

Storm #1 was a near miss to the South. #2 should hit with 5-8 inches on Wednesday and the big one is expected Friday with more than a foot. As we speak, the Hudson River by me is solid ice from shore to shore and the water-taxis are struggling to cross it. (Then again, given its Ice vs. Fiberglass with the loser having to swim home, I can't say as I blame them.

UNCG was supposed to go in at 12pm, but they changed that today as I was getting ready to go, and they cancelled all classes. That saved me from taking my Health class quiz.

I still went driving out today. Had to go get some Kerosine incase the power goes out from the ice on the lines. If I am not here tonight or tomorrow, you'll know why.

It is snowing and it is cold. My brand new van that I have been driving for 2 weeks has small crake in the windshield due to the cold. I believe there was a defect in it before I bought it so I will see if I can get them to replace it. Not much hope as windshields are not covered under the warranty which sucks.

sorry to hear about your van man, it is quite chilly here in C-Town ain't it?

however, I LUV IT! born north of Edmonton, this is how I always remembered winter being. I think there's a low of -37 celcius tomorrow (without wind chill). though it's closer to -40 tomorrow for Edmonton and Grande Prairie (which is closer to my home town). I officially declare it winter! YAY!!!!! now lets see if I can get my nose to defrost.

Living in Sydney I have NEVER been to the snow. Maybe one day I will have to take a vacation to the snow to see what all the fuss is about.
