I'll wager the sound was supposed to be you screaming in agony at the stupid popup that wouldn't go away!

For reference, folks, when you have a stubborn one like that, you can open another Explorer session, go into Tools|Internet Options, and turn off all the scripting and execution options. That has generally killed those kinds of "unkillable" popups within a round or two. The newly created popup gets the new default IE settings, and can't run the script to continue generating itself.

#%$^@#$%^ spam-bait crack-happy slug-infested bottom-feeding gutter-dwelling cranial-rectal-inserted MORONS!

Okay, got that rant out.

What was the sound?!?!?

Was it all a cruel trick, to get people worked up and clicking on the link, so it would crash their computer? Was it totally irrelevant?

unfortunately for me, i had my popkiller on so i did NOT notice that this would happen. when i turned removed my taskbar popup killer program and tried it again. i found out what crashed Jorath Calar, Johnny , and Brennihelvete computer since my computer also crashed. that was a dirty program which popup everytime you delete it. again sorry guys didnt mean it that way... no bad feelings i hope.[/QUOTE]Lol, you werent aware of it. Please, man, edit the title . I was lured into something interesting , and came to the end of the story to find it unfinished . Nobody likes that .
