OK...this is going to sound like a stupid question, but how do you get more than 2 "*" on weapon specialization??????? It was a nagging question in the back of my mind the whole time I was playing, but since my enemies all fell before me quite swiftly I never gave it a ton of thought.........I tried clicking on more "*" when a new specialization opened up, but it only let me get to 2....argggggh!!!

Only Fighters( and their kits) can have more than 2* in their weapon-type proficiencies.

Wouldn't Jaheira get to do it eventually then, or is it verboten for multi-class?
And I have to admit a lack of knowledge of 2nd and 3rd edition rules but aren't Rangers and Paladins considered some kind of sub-class of fighters?

To further clarify, only pure or dualclassed Fighters can have more than 2* in any weapon-type proficiencies. Multiclassed combinations that include the Fighter class, can only Specialise and go no further( but they can have 3* in Two Weapon Style).
Paladins and Rangers are considered Warrior types, but not Fighters. They can have 3* in Two Weapon Style too though. This applies to Barbarians as well. |

P.S there is a class that can have more than 2 that people have forgotten to mention, the archer can have 5 in missile weapons but only 1 in melee weapons
