While I can be silent for a while, I don't think I could shut up for an entire day. Even when I was young and decided not to talk to anyone for a day, I would only last for 3 hours [img]smile.gif[/img]

And it's over, and it went off without a hitch. As for how it helps, I heard somebody describe it perfectly:
"What better way to let society notice a group's contribution than to completely withdraw for a day?" More importantly, it's a bonding activity for like-minded people. It's a good thing to do. Disclaimer: I hate ginger tea.
