1 More Day for Icewind Dale 2!

I called Media Play (a store), and they said they would get a shipment of IWD2 on May 28th! I'm in USA atm, so I think all the stores in America will probably have it on that day, or sometime this week. Not sure when Europe, Australia, etc. will get it, but I doubt it will be long

Usually there is a "Gone Gold" announcement on the official website and I haven't seen one there as of this evening. The game may "Go Gold" on the 28th but I am beginning to seriously doubt that it will be in the stores by then. [img]smile.gif[/img]

yeah Micah, it probably wont be in stores by then, but it cant be long

tho for more popular things like the Harry Potter DVD, they acctualy open stores at midnight on the 28th, so ppl can b the first to buy

Generally speaking, the European release date is ussually between 1 and 3 months from the US. The Aussis have it way worse then us though.

I have heard rumors on the official IWD2 board that the game won't be released until July 1. I'm not really surprised... they did make ALOT of last minute changes, so a month's delay is not all that unreasonable--remember D2 took almost 2 years longer than it was supposed to [img]tongue.gif[/img]

A bright side: the more time that passes the more hyped we'll be. Oh and i will have time to kill Icasaracht... once and for all!
