As just sung to me by my kids, to the tune of the traditional Christmas Carol...

"Joy to the world, that Barney's dead
It's time to roast his head!
Don't worry about his body
We flushed it down the potty
Round and round it goes
Until it overflows
Until, until, until it overflows"

Now, as a dad, how am I supposed to react? All I could do was laugh, and be glad that it didn't come from me...

ROTFL! Hey it's not that unusual, remember our "trick-or-treat, smell my feet" LOL. So kids are getting more inventive is all. And yes, glad they picked Barney, good choice!

Or the school burned down version?

Of course I may be dating myself by saying that.

Jingle bells, jingle bells
Santa Claus is dead
Army men, army men
Shot him in the head
Barbie doll, Barbie doll
Tried to save his life
But G I Joe
From Mexico
Stabbed her with a knife!

Learned this from my son a few years ago.

The kids' favorite one from last year was:

Jingle Bells, Batman smells
Robin laid an egg
Batmobile lost a wheel
And the Joker took ballet

They'd have great fun rearranging who did what... Robin would smell, or Joker would lay an egg... lemmetellya, that can make for a real monotonous cross-state trip Yep, fifty miles of that, with them thinking that each time they sing it, it's hilariously new
