Good luck they'll need it! and even if they do win they'll need all the advantages they can get when they stumble into the mighty Crusaders

There is a deep hollow feeling in th pit of my stomach - one I am NOT accustomed to feeling, for

"THE STREAK IS OVER"

The mighty Brisbane Lions, who last lost in May 2001, today went down to the West Coast Weagles (local version of Tottenham) by a whopping 46 points.

That was the first time I got to see them play in all that time and we lost. What makes it more devastating is that 90% of people where I live and work support the wretched Weagles - life is going to be sheer bloody hell for the next week. After that things will be OK, cos then Brisbane will have started a new streak, and the Weagles will have played away from home and lost.

I am looking forard to the game in two weeks time, where for the first time I will be amongst a parochial Lions home crowd.

Make way, make way - man in dire need of Alcohol here!!!

Hi Lanesra - I just realised I am going to miss the game (FA Cup) - I will be in the air and flying to Brisbane when it's being played
.

On the plus side, it was good of our "pals" at Tottenham to kick Liverpool's title chances in the goulies for us - wasn't it .

It's predmoninantly Aussie sport, but we shouldn't just ignore our international cousins if they want to contribute on other subjects.

So which side did you support in the SHOWDOWN - the winners or the losers. If your a Port Power man, I hope your guys kick Weagles butt well and truly next weekend.
