This is among the stuff I get if a do a search for "riva" on the Nvidia site. Unfortunately, I have no clue what the dates on these are or if they support DirectX, etc. The "more information" button just triggers the download.

Wish I could help you Gaelic, but like you I have no idea what you should look for. You do however, have my sympathy.

IdiotRogue... AMEN Brother! but I can think a a few more things to call him.
Whats this crap I hear about them making the next version of windows a "Lease for use only" deal? Like I would give up my 98SE for some new crud that I would have to update using their stinking active update. It would take forever.

I looked at the documentation that the site had and none mentioned my card. I was going to just give it a try but at another site I saw that someone tried it with an uncompatable card and it really trashed his system.

Gaelic, Windows ME is based off of the Windows 9x platform, so most of the time the drivers are listed as "Windows9x/ME" or just "Windows9x". I looked up the drivers for your video card, and the ones labeled:

RIVA128-3.37W9xPCI [100%]
1MB

should work just fine.

As mentioned above: try the Detonator drivers.

I just bought a nVidia TNT2 32 m64 video card for $90 australian. you could probably get one cheaper than that in the states. Although it came with a cd with drivers one it I couldnt get it to run BG2 properly in 3d. I got the Detonator drivers and installed them and now it runs like a champ.

If youre going to get a new computer in the next year you could but a 32 meg video card now and put it in the new one when you get it. Ive seen some high dollar computers that have TRUE CRAP video cards. Spend $1600 on a new computer that has an 8 meg video card but has a 75 watt subwoofer. I dont think so.

Build your own. Save about 50% on the price and KNOW youre getting what you want.

There is always www.windrivers.com for all the latest drivers for anything you can think of. Surely they have the driver for your card. They also have links to the manufacturers so you can get them from the geniuses that made the hardware.

Hope that helps

Loose Windows ME!!!!! There's your problem right there. I put it on one of my machines to test it out, and there were so many problems...
