You call it what you want But here in the U.S. I go to the hardware store and I want to buy a bolt or a nut they are measured two ways in metric or american standard, and since I build things from wood or steel or plastic I buy what I need when I need it and I prefer inch ,foot,& yard
12 inches = foot
36 inches = yard
3 feet also=yard
and also the intire area around my home is called a yard
so now you figure it out????!!!!><><>what.

Personally I think the biggest reason the U.S. hasn't switched to metric is American football.
Um Dude, I think the only metric measurement for time is miliseconds and nanoseconds.

When i am using weight.. i figure it is 170 pounds heavy.
When i am using height.. i say oh this is about six foot three.
When i am looking at bottle.. i say hmm this is around 750 mills.
a two-four is twenty-four beer and a case is twelve.
