Which slot on the character should it go in - tried all slots for my bard and it seems not to accept it - should it go in a weapon slot?

goes under her/his left arm and no shield or two handed weapon can be equiped....I'm not sure but I think it ends up in the shield slot

I got it in my online multi-play game and the guy I play with hosts so I can't check for sure on the slot til we play again!

I do know I passed it toward my bard's left side and it settled into place on it's own.

Don't you just LOVE all the neat stuff for bards in IWD?!

Scuba-pup!
Yep, shield slot. Try this with all new items you are not sure of placing: hold it with the cursor in the inventory screen, and note any slot outlined in red. This is the one that will accept the item.
