Portraits??

After downloading the portraits, how do I get them onto my game??
(boy do I feel stupid)

You need to create a portraits folder. The folder should be in the IWD folder.
Then just cut and paste the saved portraits into that folder. When you want to use them just go to the character profile and select custom or select custom during character creation. That's it. If you need more in depth instructions just ask. Have a great time!

*shakes head* It's not working, I created the portrait folder and saved the portrait in it, but when I go to custom there's still nothing there.

This may sound silly, but I found out that if I close the game and then re-open it and look for the portraits, then I can find them. Also, it's important that the name of the file be in a strict 8.3 format... specifically like "BBHead_L.bmp" and her little companion "BBHead_S.bmp". I dl a file from a site where they had named it "chronicles_girl_001.bmp" and couldn't figure out why I never saw her in my list. When I renamed her, there she was.
