I've been pretty much MIA for the past week (had system problems), so it gave me some time to think of some things. I was thinking about the ending stories for all of the NPCs, and I really recall liking both Minsc's and Keldorn's stories, while really hating Jaheira's (non-romance) and Viconia's (romance). What is your favorite and least favorite NPC ending stories? Just curious...

Least favorite-Edwin. He was my favorite char, and having him remaining Edwina for the rest of his life is annoying. He got more sence in his head, than to attack Elminster!

Most favourite-Valygar.

MIA-? what's that?

Missing in Action? (Long term AFK)...

I'd have to answer Sarevok for both, since he's the only one I've ever finished the game with, along with my Cleric/Mage.

I mean, who's this whole "one true love" thing, anyway?

Yes, MIA means Missing in Action (house got hit by lightning, and took out my ethernet card and one of the router lines).

BG1 SPOILER

Unless you played BG1, then you wouldn't know about the "one true love". You kill her in BG1, right before you fight Sarevok.

My absolute favorite had to be Imoen, followed by Jan.

Least favorite was probably Jahiera. For one of my favorite characters, I felt she deserved more.

And there *is* a peaceful way out of that situation in BG1, Nerull.

My least favorite were probably Minsc and Jahieras, because I don't like the whole 'disappeared' senario.

Most favorite would be Mazzy and Aerie (romance).

Favorite: Mazzy's (Valygar's is also quite nice; Ascenesion Balthazar's is great as well).

least favorite: Jaheira's non-Romance (then Jan's)

I really wish Sarevok's ending was better. It's pretty good, but it could definately have more flavor in it.

Of course, but she is usually skewered on the end of my blade anyway...

I agree with you there. I also felt that a couple of other NPCs were a bit lacking as well (Nalia's is very predictable, as is Haer'dalis's; I actually enjoy Cernd's simply because I can't stand him).
