Can you resurrect your characters in this game? I'm tired of replaying battles.
thanks |

Resurrection does exist in IWD2 and, as far as I know, clerics are the only people who can cast it. (Druids might be able to do it, but who plays a druid in IWD2? ) A cleric can cast two versions: Raise Dead and Resurrection. Raise Dead is a 5-level spell and brings the person back to 1 HP. Not very handy during battle unless the cleric can also cast Heal right afterwards. Resurrection is a 7-level spell that raises a dead party member but cures all hit points. You can also find scrolls of both as random loot and pay out the nose for a cleric to cast the spell.
As for reloading when party members die, I tend to reload only if the death could have been avoided. If someone in my party bit the big one because I forgot about them in battle, reload. If someone wound up chunky and there was no other way to survive combat, then I cast my spells.

Welcome to Ironworks Lagomorph
You have to wait till youre clerics reach level 5 as stated above. In the meantime you can go to nearby characters (NPC) usually there are a few clerics around who will do it for a fee. But in the early stages of the game it is best if you reload a saved game. Save often! Good luck

The Temple Pavillion and the Cleric lady who gives you the Moonblade are the only two places where you can get a character resurrected
I agree with wellard though, go with a reload unless you've progressed immensely since your last save
