Ah, the joys of optical mice... I made the switch, and I'll *NEVER* go back

One thing I've found out the hard way... they don't like surfaces with highly contrasting patterns. A zebra-striped mousepad would not be a good idea, or an oak surface with nicely defined grain patterns. I've got one table that the grain patterns cause the mouse to jump all over the place. Dull and boring is best...

Hope you're feeling better soon, Cloudy. I was down (but not out) earlier this week, and it truly sucketh.

Yep the optical is the way to go! Heck I rarely see the ball mouses in stores anymore, CompUSA doesn't have any, think Game Stop sells one or two, but that's about it.

LOL, no balls for Johnny anymore! LOL, I really do like this optical mouse much better, so yup, johnny, Wendy's got some good ideas! She's a keeper, our Wendy!

Just got back from a nice game of football I was "excused" from going in goal because of my wrist, and it was pretty good. In the end we won 9-7, and most people agreed the teams were pretty fair.
