Thanks, Xen...though I have to wonder when it will be that I get around to beating NWN or KOTOR...maybe when I build my PC this summer.
...I wonder if I should bother going to sleep tonight...hmm...it's an interesting dilemma. It's 4 AM here, right now...I could swing the conscious hours on around through the rest of today, but that's probably not a good idea... So I'm off to bed! Goodnight, ya'll! See you in five hours at most!

Congrats, Sigmar! Way to turn things around
Stress time here. I've got three user group presentations to do over the next two weeks on three different topics, and I've been putting them off for the last two months. I finished one of them last night (Monday's), and I've got to get cracking on the others. Unfortunately, I've got to do a decent amount of research for each one... there's the evil of procrastination for ya! On the plus side, Girl Scout cookies arrived this week, and I've been a good pusher, out making my deliveries Man, is this a racket...

Girl Scout cookies... LOL, I had to buy a few boxes from a girl at Church. Gave one to a friend who took them to work and they were well appreciated. The other box I had managed to hide away and forget til now!
Am at work, sick and wishing I was at home.

I just bought an optical mouse and all i can say is WHOA...what an ocean of difference. I only used those things with balls before, and i'm sure everyone of you know the true meaning of having dirty balls.
well, i had one in my mouse, and no matter how many times i cleaned the damn thing, scrolling became a horror the more i cleaned it. lately it only worked good when scrolling up and down, but scrolling from the left to the right became quite an adventure these days. So now i have this optical mouse, with a little red light district feature. It acted like a Mexican jumpingbean when i placed it on my mousemat, i guess that one is out of date too, overused, almost like an iceskatingtack. So down the trashcan with the mat, and now i scroll on my desk, which works excellent, because i no longer have the ball from hell. A new world just opened up for me.

Yeah, i can't believe i kept up so long with the other mouse. I guess i kinda became experienced in handling the thing, but everytime someone else used my PC, they were like "aaargh, what the hell is wrong with this mouse". This is really a huge difference.

Mine gummed up alot, and I was tired of cleaning it. Then LadyZ sent me a gift card and I bought an optical one at her suggestion! And I love it! Moves way more smoothly and never clogs up! Very lightweight little thing, too!
