I'm gona get a new computor for me on my birthday!!!!!!!!!! :happy: [img]smile.gif[/img] But now, I have to debate with myself...should I get a brand new mac (which are SO COOL!) or should I get a big bulky PC?

Please NOONE diss about macs or pcs

No dis, but I'm surprised that Apple is still hanging on after all these years and a shrinking user base. I guess a lot can be said for the quality of the computers they make! [img]smile.gif[/img]

Course, only you can decide which to get.

Actually, most graphics designers use macs [img]smile.gif[/img] .Thats probably how.

It would depend what you wanted the computer for wouldn't it? If it's for games I'd definetly get the PC if not certainly think about getting the mac.

Hey that is a cool gift! I remember the first PC ever given to me...an Intel 125Mhz processor, SoundBlaster 64, a Diamond graphics card, Windows 95 and the first version of Microsoft Office! Back when Publisher was part of the program and it still only had one disk!
I had one of the most advanced systems available! <--totally cheesy grin.
Congratulations!

I cringe at the thought of paying $3100 for a Gateway P120 PC.

What $3100 could buy today, it's pretty sad, really.
