I have encountered a problem with Lycos web builder.

I sign in.

I click on web builder.

I click on Edit my website.

It then comes up with the following error:

This element is unavailable due to an internal error. Please report this bug to us by sending an email to the webmaster

I have tried for a number of days, thinking it may just be a Lycos system fault but alas, it still has that annoying error

Any help would be appreciated

Did you send a message to the webmaster?

No, not yet. I was going to to that if everything else failed.

I was just wondering if any other people who use it, have experienced this problem.

GokuZool, I would advise you to send it, anyway. They should be able to sort it out better than us

LOL! I think I might do that

However, I'm waiting for DK to reply. He seems to know a lot about LYCOS

I use webFTP rather than WebBuilder, and it seems to be working as well as it ever does. I dont know if you can FTP into a site created by WebBuilder, but that might be worth a try.

WebFTP lets you copy files from your computer to tripods servers. SO you make the site however you feel like and send it up.

WebBuilder is a WYSIWYG editor thats purely web-based (or so I gather) and previous experiences with such systems make me decry it as evil, but easy to use.

Only ponces use online web-builders. Real men use notepad or at least Dreamweaver or Hotmetal Pro.
Go to www.w3schools.com and learn some HTML!
