Ahh... the Gunners.

I have a case of Heinekens getting cold in the fridge, a couple of steaks marinating in some chili sauce, ready for the fire.

In 2 and a half hours it will be me and the gunners on tele.

Let us be honest for once....Man Utd have had a good run, but they are NOT the team they were anymore...

I have to give Arsene Wenger a lot of praise. What has happened to Arsenal as well is that many of their players are reaching career form at the same time, even though only Patrick Viera could be construed as world class. (And no, Thierry Henri is NOT world class, he used to be a left winger and is in fact a makeshift striker, he misses too often) Ljungberg has come off age....what a fantastic player he has become.

I think that we are going to see many good things from Arsenal over the coming years.

No, i said it right, you know why ? Because this football you actually play with your feet, like the name says. If i meant YOUR game i would have said American football.

wow... valencia routed basel 6-2. pretty impressive game on their part (even more considering basel drew away at liverpool 1-1 last week). madrid 3-3 against the greeks. arsenal won by the minimum and is virtually qualified and inter milan managed to get themselves into trouble by losing at home 1-2. i would say half the groups are decided and the other half are pretty open.

Yeah I just watched Arsenal it wasn't a great match but they managed to hold out for a narrow victory. Liverpool actually should have beat basle when they played them I watched that match too but they missed alot of chances. Tonight they beat Spartak Moscow 5-0 so there back in their group. I think Valencia will win that group and Liverpool will finish second. Incedently I support Man United who have won all there games so far COME ON YOU REDS!

I saw gaelic football on telly when I was in Ireland. That was even more interesting to watch than American football, real football (soccer), and rugby all mixed up together. Wild!

Just for all Americans I would like to say....

Over here we play Rugby...and if you do not really know what it is like, take off the protective gear that you have in NFL, and play the game that way

whats up with americans and protection anyway?
affraid they'll get hurt?

for the record most injuries in NFL are caused, not prevented by protective gearing
just take it of and start playing like it'sa game
