There is a technique that you will learn when you get older. You will be able to look at her when she is twittering on and nod from time to time while at the same time thinking about the important things in life (cars, football) etc.

You could watch a movie together (at home) so she'll be quite, and then make subtle hints that you enjoyed the silence.
