I'm asking for a spoiler!

I understand most of the pantaloons can only be kept by doing the "evil" path, but I want to know just how evil.

I've got the first two pairs, roleplaying a Chaotic Good character (CG best represents his alignment -- I'm basing him on a PnP RPG character, but that game didn't have alignments like D&D does).

I just want to know if it's worth holding onto both of them, because I want to know if my character would aquire the third pantaloons.

Yes it's quite easy to acquire the third set of pantaloons. SPOILER!!

In Abazigal's lair, at one point you meet a mage who owns a scroll you need to go through. You can kill him of course, but he's also willing to give you the scroll, but in return he wants you to fetch an eyestalk of a gauth (or beholder or something). Instead of doing this yourself, cast a Stone to Flesh scroll on the statues you found earlier (as the mage himself suggests) so that the three young adventurers get the eyestalk for you. Along with the eyestalk they will also return with the Bronze Pantalettes (and a very funny movie sequence!

)
