I finally got a *legal* copy of NWN Diamond (it's probably not what you think, I live in China. I *had* to ask someone in the US to send me a copy). My mom rocks!

I'm dying to try out EfU, but I'm afraid it will eat my system for breakfast. My *only* option:

IBM Thinkpad running XP Home sp2 (Chinese)
1.7 GHz p4 (probably a p4-M, but details are in Chinese. -_-
512 MB RAM
64 MB integrated intel 82852/82855 GM/GME graphics controller. (can't update drivers, either >.<*)

I know the graphics card might be the death knell of this dream, but will NWN even play with EfU haks on? Provided it plays, will I be stuck with single digit fps? Just to note, the laptop runs NWN/SoU/HotU reasonably well. Roughly 20 fps, I guess. I can live with it at least.

Indeed. This system was similar when I started playing, it's well past that now, but I still take a hit in Skullport...

if you have the option to upgrade your memory with another 512 (1 gig the better), then your system wouldnt take too much of a hit, but as it stands, its more than enough to handle efu
