Don't know why I didn't think of that. You're probably running PC66 in your system and the salesman gave you PC133. Sounds like it's time for a mobo upgrade anyway [img]smile.gif[/img] Glad you're problem is solved.

That's the strange thing, as I was using 2 128 megs pc 133 chip and 1 64 megs pc 100 chip as my old ram, and it worked fine.

EDIT: The 256 was PC 100, the 2 128 are PC 133.
