They are still making music? I mean, anybody but Yorick and Leonis?

Sorry, you may not like Eminem's rap, but you can't really call it "stupid." In spoken or written form it's witty as hell.
When I said stupid rap, I meant that all he raps about is (explicit)sex, death, killing things and killing his GF. It's all just very explicit. It's clever how he makes it all rhyme but that's about it.

Just my opinion....

I agree with this 100%, I don't like Eminem that much but a few of my friends love him and I can see why, his lyrics are just incredible. The only thing that puts me off is his cynicism, and the caustic feelings.

1) Favourite songs from 2002? Anastacia ---> "One day in your life"

2) Favourite albums from 2002? Creed ---> "Weathered"

3) Favourite music videos from 2002? Anastacia ---> "One day in your life"

4) Worst songs from 2002? "Train" ---> "whipping boy"

5) Worst albums from 2002? . . . . .?

6) Worst music videos from 2002? If Mariylyn Manson made one that would be it!

7) Biggest personal discovery in 2002? This last one doesn't necessarily have to be about a CD from 2002, mind you. I would say Natalie A- talented ladie.

1) Already covered my favourite songs...
2) The Flaming Lips - Yoshimi battles the Pink Robots; Sonic Youth - Murray Street; And you will know us by the trail of Dead - Source Tags & Codes; Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot; The Fire Show - Saint the Fire Show; Motorpsycho - It's a Love Cult; Interpol - Turn on the Bright Lights.
3) I'll have to think about this one... Haven't seen that many videoclips in 2002.
4) The constant-moaning-song ("Dilemma" ) and two Shakira songs, resp. Whenever Wherever (the most annoying song on the radio) and Underneath your Clothes (the biggest rip-off in 2002 without the possibility to call it a cover).
5) I try not to listen to bad albums.
6) An average hour of your average music video channel should suffice.
7) Personal discovery, other than the songs/albums already mentioned in the first few questions? The Pearlfishers ("Pet Sounds"-like popheaven) and Miles Davis.

1) 1- Linkin Park - In the end
2- Ill Nino - what comes around
3- System of a down - chop suey (don't know sure it's from 2002 though)
4- Korn - here to stay
5- Good Charlot - Lifestyles of the riche and famous

2) 1- Linkin Park - Reanimation that's all, haven't seen any other cool albums worth the buying

3) 1- Linkin Park - In the End
2- Ill Nino - what comes around
3- Slipknot - my plague

4 & 5, 6 everything hip hop (unless mixed with hard rock or something) pop

7) Ill Nino - Revolution revolucion
I'm sorry but I think Ill Nino is such a P.O.D. rip-off (I think P.O.D. sucks btw). They look like them and make music like them. I mean; be original! Don't wear dreads then!

I'm about to go to bed, so I'll answer the other questions tomorrow. But my list of best songs is already online anyways, so I'll just share it here and now already. And yes, I'm weird; it contains 250 (!) songs I thought were worth it in 2002.
Look for it here.
only two songs of spinvis?

i think the spinvis album was the best of 2002... most of you haven't heard of it, because its dutch, but i like it very much. other than that the strokes were good (is that 2002) and of course the trail of dead.. also liked flip kowlier and the queens of the stone age... and the coral of course..
