Argh, solo final battle w/ tactics woes

Hey, I was wondering if I could get some input from you guys, I am currently trying to beat the final battle of SoA (with tactics installed) with a solo cavalier. My cav is level 25 with basically all the top of the line equipment (Carsomyr, Vhailors helm, ring of gaxx, ect ect), anyways, I keep going into this battle fully buffed, and with a simmy partner but I keep getting my arse handed to me. Are there any tactics that you guys could suggest? I usually can end up killing the dragon and sword, but sarevok especially always hands me my arse... its sooo frusterating, I was able to beat this battle by importing my sorceror to help, but honestly he could beat this on his own and it sort of defeats the challenge.

you can cast restoration (from a scroll) and give your simulcrum back his levels (makes him an exact copy of you), or better yet, put the scroll in a quickslot and have him give himself back the levels.

Also what HLA's do you have available to use, as these can quickly turn the balance (GWW with Carsomyr comes to mind).

His AC is very, very high. Try using Critical Strike to be sure of hitting him.
