I am a big dog person to the extent where I only want a dog as a pet.

I like cats because they clean up after themselves and require almost no supervision, and I like intelligence and independence in a pet. I also picked spiders, snakes, and scorpions since snakes are neat pets, and the other two leave behind almost no waste and have interesting eating habits.

I go with dogs, cats, and birds. The conventional.
I love dogs, except the little yappy kind. I also like cats, although I'm allergic to most of them. I wouldn't have said birds, except a friend of the family has the most amazingly intelligent and personable parrot. Friendly, and will mimic anything likely to get it some attention. Alarm clocks, telephones, baby cries, people's voices, anything. It's not dull at all.

Dogs and birds. At the moment i don't have a dog, but i had 4 of em in the past. I had birds all my life, canaries, budgies, and currently i have a lovebird. At a certain point i also had an albino rat, very tame and huggable little critter that was, unfortunately they don't get very old. After a year or 3 it's as good as over for em.

Cats. I'm a huge ■■■■■ lover (I can't believe I had to be the one to crack such a lame joke. And yes it had to be cracked! ).
Seriously, cats, dogs and rats (had an albino rat once, like Johnny).

Birds and bunnies, they are both great to watch, really cheer me up after a bad day.
