Just wondered. The busiest forum (BG2) is fast becoming a joke to enter. Is it these silly (my opinion) avatar thingies? The load times are astronomical on occasion and im sure traffic is going to be lost to other forums through impatience before too very long.

EDIT: Just wondering if its the avatars or some underlying problem elsewhere.

One factor could be the huge sigs some of us have, though Ziroc has asked us to reduce the size. Don't know how to do mine, though.

Are you referring the signatures or the new pics of magisters and so forth, it isnt too bad for me although sometimes some people naming no names always make the screen load slower due to annimated sigs and its not all the animated sigs just some of them.

Well i been visiting for 6 or so weeks i guess and it dont seem like anything changed with the sigs etc. The forums used to load ok, sigs and all, it seems to me things took a dramatic turn for the worse since the avatars. Maybe the traffic has increased bigtime, i dunno.

I have noticed the past couple of weeks quite a slow loading time, and the board also crashes quite often. Not sure if it is the Avatars or not, but I do know that it wasn't this slow a month ago.

Actually, I seem to remember Ziroc saying he was going to rplace most of the avatars with star-sized stuff like we had previously. I think you must be right about 'em slowing the loading.

Maybe it is them then. Its weird, for the last 30 or so minutes its been a nightmare to get to the bg2 forum, i post this and now i get in no trouble. It just all seems a little up and down to me, especially being on cable. I didnt think about the forum crashing being part of the same problem but now its been mentioned the forums do seem to crash a fair bit too. I aint bitching, i like this gaff, im just asking and making observations.
