No problem Believe me, nobody knows more about the frustration than I do. I was cursing the game out for DAYS because ONE stupid thing like that was keeping me from getting anywhere in the game. It even kept me from trying to show the game off to my friends, because I happened to just be at that point. But after some rest and calming myself down, the next day I was patient enough to wait until daytime and think rationally about how to kill them. And it worked. I expected a full fight but they never spit their crap back at me if I was far enough away from them.

Hey, I think I have reason to feel most aggrieved... as I've said before on this board. My first first set of characters, without taking advantage of any of the loopholes simply because I hadn't encountered this forum and known they were there, painstakingly built up. Never knew there were four of these things beyond Ishad N'ha and there I was adventuring in the dark.

"Save Game"
"Load Game"

I'd saved with them right up behind me. Amazing timing, because I couldn't run fast enough to survive, or at least have the whole party survive.

I decided to restart the entire game )

I must have saved and loaded there more than 50 times trying to get out of the predicament. And I made hunting the mantraps, once I knew what to do, a particular priority. Revenge, as they say, is sweet
