Isn't it?

I was horrified for those in New York. What a nightmare. Such an extension and amplification of the grief from 9/11.

Yorick,

I heard that your grand father passed away and that's why you're out of the country. If that's the case, please accept my condolences. I'm happy to see that you were not in the vicinity of this plane crash and that you're alright

Now, to answer your question about the statistical safety after a plane crash. You're slightly wrong. I know it's a ill statement to make but there's sort of that view in the flying community that when you have one commercial plane crash, you'll get two more (worldwide) within a one week period. Statisticly, they seem to come in packs of 3 . But still, airplanes are the safest mean of transportation.

Cheers

Let's be perfectly clear that there is NO EVIDENCE linking this crash to any terrorist attack. We don't want to spread false information. As such I will be moving this to the GD forum.

FYI my aunt lives in Queens, where this plane crashed.

Where abouts Mem? Far Rockaway is a fair way southeast, almost in Nassau.

Is she o.k?

Hey did you get my last msg BTW? I'll be back in about 1 - 2 weeks.

She lives near Main Street, so she's ok. I did get your message - had to crash, dude! Early morning meeting. Definitely should catch up sooner rather than later when you get back - dinner would be good.

I also hope everyone is ok, cos I gotta few friends off of here from NY.

I think that this plane crash is probably something dodgy, due to the fact the last "engine" to drop off was quite a way off.

Another wierd idea is, that with Kabul just been liberated, maybe it would be better for the American nation if it was terrorism, as it would be anotehr thing to add to the Talliban when they capture Bin Laden.
The reason I say this, is that I agree with what was mentioned earlier, and faults like that shouldnt occur, and shouldnt take 300 odd lifes.

*Sorry if this is controversial, its just me thinkin*

I gathered that mate. I went over time in the studio. What a vibe it is down there though. Right on the harbour amidst dancing and theatre companies. Right under the harbour bridge. Very pretty. Very vibey.

Hope you're doing o.k. bro.
