Well, I doubt brandnew, unmodified, standard software allows html in signatures (that's also the case on ikonboards for example) but I guess that it can be changed with a small hack. Just be patient I guess.

Well, that should discourage people from making short three-word posts. More often than not, people tend to use their sigs, unless they're participating in huge chat threads. It's not a big deal to untick the box, is it?

Also - we do have sig limits here. We've been a bit lax in enforcing them, but we should start cracking down on those again. Remember that people should have at most 2 graphics in their sig, and they need to conform to a size limit.

Actually, just like now, the reply page doesn't load completely (it ends just under the Add Reply button) and I can't uncheck the box. And that's pretty annoying, as I'd have to edit the message after posting it just to remove the sig.

EDIT: While I'm at it, when can we 'submit to the choc'? I want to know whap happens if we click the head

It's annoying that whenever someone says, for example: "Good morning, Jerome", they have a sig beneath it which fills half of my screen, or more.

I agree! Some sigs are HUGE. Mine is not exactly miniscule - I would actually LIKE it to be smaller - but some are way too big.

I like the Instant UBB Code boxes below the reply window. And the reply window is to small, I agree, Ziroc!

I'm not disagreeing with you. Let's see if it's doable using the software available. I just think that if Ziroc had to choose between making a mod for this and a mod for something else (like sticky posts or something) putting his efforts elsewhere would add more value to all of us. It's only a tick box, dude, relax! I don't really care either way. It takes 1 second to tick and untick it.

At the bottom of each forum; normally it said: "Topic", "Hot topic", "Closed Topic". Remember? Now there are two new icons: "No new posts since last visit- Normal Topic", and "No new post since last visit- Hot Topic"

Mouse was doing something he wasn't supposed to (incorporate HTML in sigs). The danger with having HTML in sigs is that if people aren't careful with their closing HTML tags it can do really wierd things to the entire webpage (like entire sections marqueeing or sliding all over the place).

Ziroc, something that struck me is that when you make a reply to a thread which is already on the 2nd or 3rd page, that we don't get transferred back to the last page of the thread (with the post I just made), but to the first page. Did they just forget that feature in version 6 or did you have to hack it yourself into the last version as well in order to make it work? I thought we had that feature before...

It has ALWAYS chucked me back to page one, Grojlach. Annoying, though, I agree.

It did? Hmm, my apologies then, I thought it always brought me to the last page... I'm pretty sure that was the case at BGDungeon, cause when I first started posted on ikonboards, it struck me they always brought me back to the first page after making a reply. But now I'm unsure of whether it brought me to the first or last page at Ironworks...

Hmm, you're right. The last time I used html code, it apparently created problems in some browsers as well.
Edit: now I think of it a little better, it's actually an improvement that we can't edit our sigs anymore once the post is made...
