Alright, I'm curious as to what level Thief high-level abilities start. The book says 25, but a site said 24. I'd really like to know before making any decisions.

Don't let that deter you. I think my thieves got their ability at 25.
The cool picks are: Use any item (does EXACTLY what it says), Assassination, spike trap (THE trap) and time trap if you are quick.

Next levelup after you hit 3 million XP. Different kits might level up at slightly different rates (don`t think so, though).

All pureclassed Thieves and Bards( inclusive of their kits) get their first HLA at level 24.
