Do you know if any announcement was made as to the reason these Brits were in NYC and Washington...business people visiting the WTC, visiting military personel, tourists? It is of course sad in all cases, but it does seem like such a large number

The final death toll is going to be so high...I can't dwell on it. The WTC was a complex of international as well as American commerce. It wouldnt suprise me if few countries on our plantet didn't lose citizens. Worldwide, we mourn today and for some time to come.

Moridin, please don't take this the wrong way but the term 'Brits' is quite offensive. It is used as an insult by the IRA amongst others. Normally I'm not that sensitive or concerned and the term is used quite freely on this board. It's just that at this time sensibilities are running a bit high. |

I thank Great Britain and all other members of NATO for the support they have offered. It is good that we have such friends as all NATO nations, especially at a time like this.

But definitely don't call a Welshman or a Scotsman, English. They will not be at all amused. ------------------ Save Chip - Don't let Sarah win! I would like to offer my condolences and prayers to all nations who had companies in the WTC. This really is a world tragedy!
------------------ Captain of Bouncers, Boogre Bar LH Member General Woundwort's body was never found. It could be that he still lives his fierce life somewhere else. But from that day forward, mothers would tell their kittens that if they were not good, the General would get them. Such was Woundwort's monument, and perhaps it would not have displeased him. |
