Does anyone know howc can I remove those lines from appearing in Print layout in MS word?

There are two more at the bottom of each page.

They strated appearing some days ago (mustve switched them on by mistake). I tried all the obvious solutions from the View menu.

Is it a set up for a header, maybe? I use Word, but have never come across that.

well it's definately got something to do with your text borders but I have absolutly no idea what brings that up

i'm sure I have seen it before, and I thought I knew my way around Word quite well, but I was obviously mistaken....

I'll have a look at that version in a short while...

I thought I'd seen most everything too...

Check your header/footer settings to make sure there's nothing there. If there is, clean it out and save normal.dot (so it doesn't come back again).

Hmmm... I really don't think that will help much, actually. I may have to poke around a bit...

Too easy, and you have two options:

1. Stop using M$ and start using OpenOffice!

2. You can't. While in print view these are showing you the user, where your print borders are. If you have anything outside of these, they will not print properly. To remove them them, switch out of print view mode.

Next!

[/QUOTE]You can! I've been always using print view and they never appeared before. So they are switchable.

Open office is crappy. I'd rather remain with M$$$$$$$$$$$

Well I was just trying things out, and in options-view, there was a checkbox for text boundaries that put those lines in. So that might be it? Except that also put a dotted line around the text area on mine so it might not be it after all...

Ok, so you sent me to the book.
Open word~Tools~Options~Look down in the web/print view region. Uncheck the box about placement holders, and text borders.
If that does not do it, post back with your version of M$.
