English is lovely. It's so bloody easy that I can use that class to catch up on the sleep that I missed the night before

While dreaming about the girl next to you doing some table-dancing, no doubt
Personally, English is the only subject I'm good at and enjoy (not counting History and ClassCiv, which I enjoy but am no good at.) I like French, too, now we have a better teacher.

Naah, English was nice. It was a tad worse with Latin, and Greek lol. Fortunately I only had to learn the name of bones, blood vessels, nerves, organs..... Maybe IŽll just edit out that "only" above

It's ironic that you are picking on English (literature, I assume) in a forum where so many are obviously creative and enjoy writing. I have always loved English, even when I had bad teachers. And Latin, since that made memorization of the anatomical structures much easier and less random seeing. (Like Sternocleidomastoid muscle is less scary when you can parse it and realize that it just means muscle attached to the sternum, clavicle, and mastoid process.

gah, latin. my teacher HATED me. Dropped it immediatly only to discover to my horror the other classical subject i had chosen-ClassCiv-was taught by him to. That might have been okay-warning to change the subject-but I only realised at the start of year 10 *sigh* He did retire at christmas last year though and my new teacher is brilliant
I am actually finding Year 11 to be okay so far.

I used to LOVE English at Highschool. I had the same teacher from year 10-12 and he was a kicka$$ teacher! He let us do whatever the hell we wanted. If we wanted to go outside and kick a footy...
"Sure, just be sure to hand you assignments on time"
He even used to come out and kick a footy with us
I got an 18/20 for my year 12 grade and I never did a single thing in his class.
