I heard the drinking song sung on Ripley's Belive it or not heh... the old one not the new one! So yeah it was pretty much based on it [img]tongue.gif[/img] kind of funny actually. What is it with boose and american history?

An interesting thing about "America" is that it's the feminine form of Amerigo's name. What's that all about?
I suppose the city of Alexandria was in a similar situation. What I wouldn't mind knowing is why 'Alexander' and 'Alexandra' are still contempory names, yet of 'Cassander' and 'Cassandra', only 'Cassandra' seems to have survived. Does anyone know any men called Cassander? I think it's a pretty cool name. |
